Auditor / Assistant Auditor
Harvest Revenue Group is accepting resumes for an anticipated opening for an auditor or assistant auditor, depending on the qualifications of the candidate.

These roles have high visibility with our supplier clients and requires outstanding communication skills, including the ability to provide counsel and diplomacy in suppliers’ dealings with retailers over disputed claims for shortages, defective merchandise and promotional allowances, among others. Each offer the opportunity for advancement within our organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, review, and evaluate client data and financial information including purchase agreements and client standards in order to audit and analyze the client’s business operations
  • Make determinations and recommendations on claims produced for the clients and partner with them to prepare responses for disputes with retailers
  • Move efficiently between different audits with accuracy and flexibility
  • Assist in client reporting
  • Maintain consistent communication and positive relationship building with clients
  • Complete objectives with no direct supervision required; audit beyond specific tools/reports
  • Contribute to the success of the organization by helping others accomplish results and providing innovative solutions to common obstacles and processes

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of relevant experience is required, working in either corporate retail accounting, auditing, or post-audit, in a supplier-based claim validation or dispute role, or a similar position
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and with an acute attention to detail
  • Self-starter, taking initiative to enhance output for clients’ and company’s benefit
  • Strong communication skills, verbally, written and visually
  • Ability to juggle multiple client priorities with diplomacy and within allocated time frames
  • Not be subject to a non-compete agreement imposed by Walmart
  • Proficiency in data base queries and management
  • Professional mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Access and Excel
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess solid relationships with retail decision makers and/or an extensive network of contacts within the supplier community
  • Knowledge of Retail Link and/or other national retailer service portals for suppliers
  • Familiarity with SQL use and management
  • Experience in grocery, drug, online, electronics or big box channels highly desirable

The role requires occasional travel, but is primarily office-based.

Position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas. Telecommute may be possible.
